Fences, gates and decks

Most of our fence work is wood or chain link. Wood is the privacy fence: you can’t see through it and it reads as part of the yard. Chain link keeps a dog in and lets you see out, and it holds up with very little upkeep. We work on both.

Gates take the most abuse on any fence, so they get their own line: we build and fix gates, and put in gate openers.

OKIE811 lists deck installs and “any other project that requires digging” among the jobs that need a free utility locate, and fencing is on its list for landowners. That means a locate request at least 3 business days before the first post hole, and hand digging within 24 inches of any mark.

When a fence gets replaced, the old one is a pile of boards, posts and concrete. The City of Tulsa’s bulky waste pickup won’t take contractor remodeling or demolition debris, and it names fencing, lumber and siding as examples. We do hauling too, so the old fence leaves when the new one goes up.

We repair decks and stain them. Loose or rotted boards get replaced, and a deck that has gone gray gets cleaned and stained. Cleaning a deck before stain is the same job as our deck and fence washing.
